Norman was born in Taber, Alberta on September 9, 1933. He passed away on August 1, 2008 in Chilliwack.

He then joined the RCAF in 1953 and spent 26 years crossing Canada on the Pinetree Line. Then he served 13 years as a Correction Officer in B.C. On retirement he travelled extensively all over North America.

Norman is survived by his wife Jean; daughters: Stephanie Woods of Calgary, and Susan Diemert and Vincent; grandchildren: Travis, Tyler, Tucker, Thomas and Emma; great-grandson: Braeden of Daphne, Alabama; his son, Christopher Woods, Angela and grandson Peter of Chilliwack; and his brother, Alfred Woods of Leth-bridge. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends.

Norm was always busy with his hobbies of woodworking, fixing cars and camping. He loved to be with his grandchildren.

Come and Celebrate Norman Woods’ Life on Saturday Afternoon, August 9, 2008, from 2 – 4 p.m. at the residence Lounge at 9175 Edward Street in Chilliwack, B.C.
