Noriko Kobayashi, born on October 5, 1937 in Hiroshima, Japan passed away unexpectedly on December 26, 2003.
Survived by her husband John; sons, Mike (Pat), Doug (Mindi) and Jeff (Jennifer); grandchildren Steven, Allan (Fran), Mariko, Breagh and Brendan; and great-grandchild Annaca.
Immigrating to Canada in May 1955 and becoming a very proud Canadian citizen on November 24, 1966, Noriko dedicated her entire life to being a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother to her family. Family and friends adored and cherished her for her great sense of humour, love of life and true strength of character. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered forever.
A Memorial Service will be held at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 45865 Hocking Ave., Chilliwack, on Friday, Jan. 2, 2004 at 1 p.m. Reception to follow at 8533 Broadway St., Chilliwack. Flowers gratefully declined, donations may be made to the BC Cancer Society, 2206 Richmond Ave., Victoria, B.C. V8R 4R5.
