Nils Ingvar Nilsson passed away peacefully on November 26, 2009 at Chilliwack, BC at the age of 88 years. Nils is survived by Katherine, his loving wife of 54 years; daughter, Maxine (Bill) Jackson; grandson, Bill (Larissa) Jackson and great-grandchildren Will and Savanna. He also leaves his sisters, Elly Bondeson, Ulla (Hans) Abrahamson and Brita (Allan) Markström, all of Sweden.
Nils enjoyed bowling and Scandinavian dancing. He liked to build – houses for himself and others and he was a great welder. He was a member of the District 7 Sons of Norway, Viking Lodge #81, Saga Lodge # 104 and the Independent Order of Foresters.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 10, 2009 at 12:00 noon from the Chapel of Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home, 45865 Hocking Ave., Chilliwack, BC.
