Nicholas Andrew Saber passed away on June 4, 2006 at Chilliwack, BC at age 80 years. He was born December 18, 1925 in Anelowka, Poland.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Ann Saber; daughter, Caroline Fosolan; grandson, Bryan Fosolan and granddaughter, Christa Fosolan.
Nicholas grew up in Saskatch–ewan and married Helen in 1949. They moved to Vancouver in 1957 where he found employment as a Head Machinist, a position he held for 40 years.
He enjoyed building homes and loved traveling in his R.V. He was always ready to help his family and friends. He will be greatly missed. All our love from his wife, daughter and grandchildren.
A viewing for family and friends will be held on Friday, June 9, 2006 at 7:00 pm from Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home, 45865 Hocking Ave, Chilliwack.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2006 at 1:30 pm. at Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home.
If so desired memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in Nick’s name.
