Neil Herbert Nelmes passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2005 at Chilliwack Hospital at age 73 years. He was born April 17, 1932 in Chilliwack.
Neil is survived by his wife of 53 years, Marg; children, Doug (Millicent), Rick, and Terry (Jim) Graham; grandchildren Christopher, Karen, Jayme, Cory, Mitchael, and Davis; and brother Earl (Shirley).
He was predeceased by his mother and father, Freeda and Herb Nelmes; brother Mervin; and sister Shirley Moseanko.
The family will gather to celebrate Neil’s life.
Neil was born and raised in Chilliwack, moved to Vancouver, then lived in Surrey for 38 years where he worked for Island Paper. He retired to Chilliwack in 1996. Neil loved to drive and made numerous trips across Canada and the US. He will be greatly missed.
Special thanks to the all the nurses on the third floor at Chilliwack Hospital, especially Artie. We will always remember the care Neil received while with you.
