(nee Aikenhead)
Nan passed peacefully at Seniors Village in Williams Lake where she had resided for a year.
Born April 13, 1920 and raised in Langley, she worked as a hairdresser in Vancouver, and a chick sexer contracting to many poultry operations as far east as Manitoba.
She met Glyn Huntley, a Canadian Sailor during WWII and they were married February 29, 1944. Moving to Chilliwack after the war, they purchased a small nut farm in Rosedale where they raised their family and lived happily there for many years, and they enjoyed a retirement which centered around family, camping and fishing.
Nan is survived by her children, Lynn (Rob) Wiffen, Rhonda (Jeff) Richardson, both of Williams Lake and her son Dave (Lucille) Huntley of Sayward, 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations could be made to the Crohns & Colitis Foundation of Canada.
