It is with profound sadness that we announce that Myrna passed away from cancer. She died peacefully and comfortably in her own home.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Maurice. Her mother Ruth Ledoux, daughters Sandra O’Connor (Dan), Robin Klassen, Leslie Guilbault (Kevin) and son Andrew Guilbault. Brothers Morris Ledoux (Verla) and Larry Ledoux (Penny). She also leaves behind 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Myrna was predeceased by her father Albert and daughter Janice.
Generous with her time, energy and spirit, she was an avid volunteer and spent many hours helping out at the Salvation Army and the B.C. Senior Games. While spending the winters in Palm Springs she still found time to volunteer at the local food banks several times a week.
A wonderful cook, we all enjoyed the family dinners at Grandma’s. She loved going for long walks, playing cards with her many friends and reading. And she so loved her precious Coco.
A Memorial Service will be held this Saturday, July 19th at 11:00 a.m. at the Sardis Community Church located at 45625 South Sumas Road in Chilliwack.
In lieu of flowers, Myrna had requested that donations be made to the Chilliwack Hospice Society.
