Muriel Cathleen Taylor passed away at Surrey Memorial Hospital in Surrey, B.C. on October 16, 2008.
Muriel was born on December 13, 1915 in Brandon, Manitoba. She spent most of her life in various locations in B.C. — Langford, Mission, Prince George, and Chilliwack.
She was predeceased by her husband Sydney Taylor.
Muriel is survived by her sons Norman Taylor (Dorathy) and Colin Taylor (Nancy Cutt); her sister: Florence Joseph; her grandchildren: Shelleen Stringfellow (Robert) and Cory Taylor (Darci Wright) and Jordan Forbes and Jennifer Forbes; and two great-grandchildren: Taylor and Jack Stringfellow.
She will be remembered for her loving hugs and her cheery waves of “Hello! How are you.”
Her family would like to thank the staff at Surrey Memorial and Newton Regency Care Home for their concern and care for her in her last years.
As per Muriel’s wishes, there will not be a service. She will be laid to rest with her husband, Syd, in the Legion Cemetery in Chilliwack, B.C.
