Suddenly at his home in Chilliwack, B.C. March 15, 2008. Morris was born April 24, 1931 in Vancouver, B.C.
He is survived by wife Joan; married for 50 years May 21, 1957 and he had converted to Catholicism in 1957; daughter: Anne (John) Thompson; son: John Wilson; and grandchildren Amy Thompson, Karen Thompson, Brittany Wilson and Linden Wilson.
Morris was a music teacher and taught from 1957 - 1973 in Burnaby and 1973 - 1985 in Chilliwack.
Member of the Secular Fransciscan Order 1957 (Vancouver) and then with Joan established the first B.C. Secular Fransciscan Order Fraternity outside of Vancouver in Chilliwack in 1979.
He was a church organist and choir director in Catholic Churches in Burnaby, New Westminister, Chilliwack Army Base and Chilliwack.
He also enjoyed hiking and photography.
A Funeral Mass with Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday March 25, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church 8909 Mary St. Chilliwack, B.C.
