Mona Angeline (nee Schroeder) Cross born July 28, 1951, arrived peacefully into the arms of the Lord on August 11, 2005. Greeted in heaven with open arms by her mother Norma, grandmother Mable, and other cherished family and friends
Mona courageously faced each day with faith and an abundance of strength and love with her family and friends. Left behind to celebrate her life are her loving husband Glen, 4 daughters: Melissa, Ashley, Marie (Sheldon) and Suzanne (Ian); her beautiful grandbabies: Zackary, Jason and Benjamin; her father Abe; sister Linda (Tony); brothers Ian (Rose) and Marty (Bonnie), countless nieces, nephews and her tremendous extended family and friends. Mona lived a full and beautiful life filled with laughter, joy and love for all those around her. An infectious smile and glowing heart were only a few of her many traits that we will cherish forever.
The family would like to thank Dr. Turchen, Dr. Granger and Dr. Norris as well as all the staff at Clayburn Medical Clinic, Surrey Cancer Clinic, MSA Hospital and special thanks to the nurses and staff of Royal Columbian Hospital (3 South). Your warmth, professionalism and compassion will never be forgotten.
A Celebration of Mona’s life will be held on Wed. August 17, 2005 at 2:00 pm at Northview Community Church, 32040 Downes Rd. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Variety Club Children’s Charities.
