Merla Mae Everest passed away Sunday, Feb. 27, 2005 at 1:15 p.m. at Fraser Hope Lodge.
Mountainside Funeral Home, Hope, B.C. in charge of arrangements. Cremation.
Interment Franklin family plot, Oddfellows Cemetery, Chilliwack, B.C. No service or flowers by request.
Born at Chamberlain, Sask., January 22, 1933.
Merla is survived by husband of 54 years, Cecil E. Everest of Hope, B.C.; daughters, Sharron Jean (Lee) Naylor of Princeton, B.C., and Donna Lynn Everest of Penticton, B.C.; granddaughter Stephanie Roger of Okanagan Falls, B.C.; grandsons, Scott Everest of Princeton, B.C.., and Ian Naylor of Princeton, B.C.; two great-grandchildren, Justice Janine Naylor and Darrian Lee Naylor; sister-in-law Lillian Franklin; and nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents, Harold and Helen Franklin; grandson Kelly Joseph Roger; and brother Harold LaVerne Franklin.
