Maurice passed away in Chilliwack General Hospital in the early hours of March 5, 2006 at the age of 84 years. He was born in New Westminster on June 1, 1921. Maury is survived by his wife, Marion; son, Don (Karen); daughter, Lois (Allan Harvey) and daughter, Joan Carver; grandchildren, Sarah, Lisa and Brian Harvey, David and Jackie Carver and their father, Mike Carver. He is also survived by two step-grandchildren Christina Sommerfeld and Jennifer Briggs (Steve) and great granddaughter Sophia Briggs. Maury is also survived by his sister Phyllis Burnett in Surrey and his brother Roger (Marion) Harvey in Kamloops. He was predeceased by his brother, Ken.
