Marysia Anne Zaleski
It is with great love and sadness that the family announces the passing away of Marysia Zaleski, 67, on Monday, May 29th, 2017. She leaves behind her loving husband Andy, three loving sons Michael (Stacey), Chris (Jeenet) and John (Rachael), a loving daughter Teresa (Kevin) Vaughan along with three beloved granddaughters Olivia, Hannah and Tallow. In all circumstances Marysia made the most of life, maintaining an endearing gentleness and a graceful, compassionate optimism despite her own substantial health challenges. She continually kept doing her best. She was strong and inspiring through her faith. The peace and joy that radiated from her was an encouragement to many of all ages. Marysia loved “to the depth and breadth and height that her soul could reach.” Creative in many ways, lighthearted, kind, ever hospitable and supportive, she never ceased thinking of others. The hope that she shared will always remain with us. Words cannot express how greatly Marysia will be missed. Prayers will be held at St. Mary’s Church, 8909 Mary St., Chilliwack at 7 p.m. on Friday, June 2, 2017. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary’s Church at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 3 followed by reception at 12:30 p.m. at St. Mary’s Parish Hall.
