Mary Erickson passed away December 2, 2007 at Eden Care Facility, age 95. Mary was born May 11, 1912 in New Sarepta, Alberta.
She was loved for her cinnamon buns, apple pies, and her rose garden. Her biggest enjoyment was family get togethers — she was everything: a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother should be.
Mary is survived by her beloved family, children, Ernie (Mabel) Erickson of Parksville, Don Erickson of Chilliwack, Alma Cranna of Edmonton, and Dennis (Marcie) of Chilliwack, 10 grandchildren, and 23 great grandchildren, sisters Rose Trabant of Chilliwack, and Evelyn Harke of Edmonton, and sister-in-law Lil Hinkelman.
She was predeceased by her parents, Ludwig and Adolphine, her loving husband Harry Albin Erickson in 1989, four sisters, and one brother.
A funeral services were held Thursday, December 6, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Henderson’s Funeral Home in Chilliwack. Rev. Nathan Hewitt officiating.
Burial at the Chilliwack Ceme–teries to follow.
