Mary Brandeis passed away on Tuesday, April 27th, 2010 at the Bradley Centre at age 100 years. She was born in Schidthorst, Germany on October 8th, 1909.
Mary is survived by her daughter Connie (Norman) Maurice of Chilliwack, grandsons Kevin (Carissa), Wayne (Tina) Maurice, great-grandchildren Kieran, Carsen, Kalen, Hailey, and Tyler, sisters Blanche Perverzife (George), Anne Turlick, nephews Gerald Locke, Gord and Ken Turlick, Wayne and Doug Braun, nieces Bonnie Scott, Diane Friend, Anne Gillin and Jean Ramage.
She was predeceased by her sisters Emilie Younie, Pauline Locke, brother Frank Braun, and husband Frank Brandeis.
The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to the staff at F.V.H. Care Centre, and the Bradley Centre for their compassion and kindness to Mary.
A Memorial Tea Service will be held on Saturday, May 8th, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. from the Tea Room at Henderson’s Funeral Home, 45901 Victoria Avenue, Chilliwack.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
