Mary Benedict Beaty passed away at the Eden Rest Home, Chilliwack, B.C. Wednesday, December 1st, 2004. She was born in Leadgate Co., Durham, England Jan. 29, 1915 and emigrated to Canada in 1981.
She was predeceased by her husband Thomas Beaty in 1976 and son Richard Beaty on Sept. 8, 2003.
Mary is survived by her loving daughter Maureen (Alan) of Ontario. Sons Robert (Sheila) Thomas (Mary) in England, son John (Dorothy) and daughter-in-law Maureen of Chilliwack, B.C. 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Prayers will be held Monday, Dec. 6 2004 at 7 p.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 8909 Mary St., Chilliwack, B.C. Mass of Christian Burial to follow on Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2004 at 10 a.m. Interment at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. Celebrant: Father Gary Gordon.
