Mary Barbara Wells, aged 82, a resident of Yucalta Lodge, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Jan. 2, 2005 at Campbell River and District Hospital. Formerly of Chilliwack, she was the beloved mother of Dwayne and Leslie Wells of Abbotsford, Sylvia (Harvey) Hahn, and Doreen (Lawrence) Simper, both of Campbell River; grandmother of Brandon, Amy, Cody, and Olivia. She is survived as well by many nieces and nephews.
Mary was a longtime member of the Jehovah’s Witness, Kingdom Hall. She loved knitting, crocheting, and especially gardening, as well as playing the violin and mouth organ. Mary was soft hearted, kind, giving, and a wonderful mother. “We will always love and miss you.’’
