Born in Freetown on July 11, 1943, daughter of the late Andrew and Elsie (MacPhee) Paynter. Wife of Daniel C. Amundson. Mother of Sheila Lane, Wendy Woodside and Donald (Janice) Amundson. Grandmother of Jordyn Woodside, Ashly Woodside and Stephen Lane, special grandmother to Jesse MacLeod. Sister of Helen Somers, Percy, Preston and Junior (Mildred) Paynter. Sister-in-law of Glen, Muriel and Adrienne Paynter, Judith (Jeff) Horkoff, Dale (Zane), Marus (Barb) and Dean (Joy) Amundson. Predeceased by brothers, Ernest, Leigh, Vernon, Elton, Harold and George Paynter. Sisters-in-law, Hazel and Julie Paynter, and brother-in-law, George Somers. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington. No visitation by personal request. Funeral Service was held on Saturday, January 10, 2009 in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 1:30 p.m. Interment July 11, 2009, at St. Thomas Anglican Church Cemetery, Spring Brook.
