Marta (Sig) Sigrun Peake passed away peacefully at Chilliwack on May 26, 2003. Sig was born on December 31, 1915 at Otto, Mana., and married Doug Peake on June 10, 1944 in Winnipeg, Man.
Sig is survived by her loving family, son Walter (Rene) Peake of Chilliwack; daughter Darlene (Eric) Lunner of Chilliwack; four grandchildren, Warren (Urszula), Christopher, Jamie and Matthew; and one brother Dan Danielson.
She is predeceased by her husband Doug; and grandson Kyle.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 30, 2003 at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Henderson’s Funeral Home, Rev. Doug Ireland officiating Cremation.
If family or friends so desire, donations to the Canadian Alzheimer’s Society in Sig’s name would be appreciated.
