Yaxley Mark, Daniel. It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Mark Daniel Yaxley. He passed at the age of 27 on Monday, June 16, 2014 in Chilliwack BC. Mark was born on Thursday, February 19, 1987 in Chilliwack. Mark is survived by his parents Kathy and Ross, twin sister Megan (Simon), nieces Shelby & Jenna, nephew Jeremy and daughter Willow. Grandparents Leo and Anne Schmidt, Grandmother Nellie Yaxley (of Ontario), Auntie Linda (Bob), Uncle Dale (Lisa), Uncle Ron (Darlene), Auntie Karen (Max), Uncle Wayne, Auntie Sharon (Rick), Uncle Dan (Laurie), Auntie Colleen (Jim) and many cousins. Mark is predeceased by his Grandfather Ross Yaxley Sr. Mark graduated from Sardis Secondary School in 2005 and went on to become a diamond driller working in the North West Territories, Nunavut, Rankin Inlet, Northern Saskatchewan, Northern Ontario, and Northern BC. His work ethic was immeasurable! Mark loved what he did and enjoyed being in remote places! He experienced parts of our world most never do and had the most amazing stories and pictures to prove it! He had a passion to travel, with Thailand being one of his favorite places. He called it Paradise and it is there, he learned the sport of diving. He loved music, playing the guitar of which he taught himself for the most part. He loved the outdoors with quading, skeet shooting, camping and snowboarding being some of his favorite pass times! Mark will be so greatly missed, his memory will live on forever and our lives are forever changed!

A Celebration of Life service will be held at the Evergreen Hall at 9291 Corbould St., Chilliwack BC on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at 2:00 pm. McLean's Funeral Service 604-847-3477
