Marion Elsbeth Therrien Gidon passed away on Monday, July 29, 2002 at Chilliwack General Hospital, at the age of 50 years. She was born April 12, 1952 in Castrop-Rauxel, Germany. Marion is survived by her children, Andrea, Frank, Peter, Sacha, Sebastian, Patrick Christian, Shane, Sabrina and Brittany; her grandchildren, Kimberly, Viviane, Samantha, and Jessica; also her parents; one brother; and one sister.
A funeral service was held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 1, 2002 at Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home in Chilliwack, officiated by Father Jack Diaz. Burial followed at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Sardis.
Pallbearers were Vincent Gidon, Sacha Therrien, Christian Gidon, Shane Gidon, Sebastian Therrien, and Patrick Therrien. If desired, donations in memory of Marion may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
