Marguerite Mae Friskey passed away on July 14, 2004 at Chilliwack General Hospital at age 65 years. She was born December 12, 1938 in New Westminster, B.C.
Marg is survived by her husband Dan Friskey, daughters: Angela Grimard, Ivann Dyer, sons: Scot Friskey, Michael Friskey and Jason Friskey. Grandchildren: Justin Dyer, Ashley Dyer, Derek Blair, Brittany Blair and Sarah Blair. Great-grandchildren: Isabelle Dyer and Shynoda Thrush. Sisters, Eileen Knott, Betty Moore and brother Bill Carey.
She was predeceased by her parents William and Lois Opal Carey.
During her life, Marguerite was involved in the Christian Women’s Club, the Kidney Foundation, and the Cancer Foundation.
Marguerite grew up in the Chilliwack area where she made a home for her family. She loved children, the beauty of the outdoors and the clubs and foundations in which she volunteered.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, July 23, 2004 at 3 p.m. at Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home, 45865 Hocking Ave., Chilliwack, B.C. Pastor Tim Rowan will be officiating the service.
She will be deeply missed by her husband Dan and family.
