Margaret Rose Peacock passed away on January 4, 2004 at Chilliwack, B.C. She was born October 10, 1919 in Kerrobert, Saskatchewan. Marg is survived by her son, Bill and wife, Bonnie; their children, Julie, Cindy and grandson, Kevin; daughter Sharon and husband Les Hiebert; their children Derek and Shannon. She was predeceased by her husband, Willard Harry Peacock. Margaret was born Margaret Rose Penney on the farm in Kerrobert. When she finished school, she attended the Toronto Conservatory of Music and earned her diploma as a piano teacher. She toured with a band for a number of years during which she met Harry and they married after the war. They moved to B.C. and lived in Chilliwack from 1946 to the present. By Margaret’s request, there will be no service.
A memorial tea will be held Saturday, Jan. 10, 2004 at 2 p.m. at the Chilliwack Senior Veteran’s Society, 9233 Main St., Chilliwack.
