Margaret Loraine BRISSON

Margaret Loraine Brisson graduated from this life to eternity with her Saviour on Saturday, May 30, 2009 at the Chilliwack General Hospital. She was born in Guernsey, Saskatchewan on December 15, 1927 to Magdelina and Delton Biehn.

After both her mother and father passed away before she was nine years old, she went to live with her Aunt Amanda and Uncle Orton (Weaver) in West Montrose, Ontario. At 18 years of age she moved back to Guernsey and worked as a telephone operator. Eventually she moved to Edmonton, Alberta where she worked for 32 years at Canada Packers.

She met and married Ray Brisson in October of 1977. Margaret and Ray moved to Sardis in 1987, living first on Fern Street and then Airport Road.

Margaret is predeceased by her brothers: George and Stuart Biehn; and sister-in-law Doris Biehn.

She will be missed by her loving husband Raymond; and sisters-in-law: Elva Biehn and Simone (Harold) Knutson; as well as nephews: Dave (Monika) Biehn, Rob (Nhora) Biehn; and nieces: Debbie (Ken) Hume, Susan (Blaine) Dohgrty; and stepsons: Marcel, Greg, Rob Brisson; stepdaughter, Estele; niece: Diane (Ron) Brown; and step-grandchildren.

Margaret was a loving hospitable woman who loved to travel and take walks in the summer with Ray. She will be missed by many family and lots of special friends.

A memorial service for Margaret will be held at Sardis Community Church on Friday, June 5, 2009 at 1:30 P.M.
