1923 - 2005
Margaret Rowan passed away suddenly into the presence of herLord on Wednesday, August 10, 2005. She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Ward; sons, Laurie (Gayle), Brad (Annie), Tim (Karen) and Grant (Patricia); 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; her sister, Doris Erickson; sister in law, Phyllis Rowan; nieces, nephews and many other relatives.
Margaret was born in Trehern, Manitoba and moved, with her family, to BC where she met and married the love of her life, Ward. She will be remembered for her loving, sweet and gentle spirit and her commitment and service to her Lord and Saviour. Margaret loved her family and enjoyed spending time making special dinners, baking, crocheting afghans and many other special projects. Margaret and Ward loved to travel, and especially enjoyed attending “ One Heart” concerts. She will always be remembered for her loving faithfulness to the Lord and to her church family at Rosedale Pentecostal Church. Many thanks to the wonderful staff at Royal Columbian Hospital who lovingly cared for our mother.
A Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 17, 2005 at 10:30 am at Valley View Cemetery in Agassiz. Memorial service will follow at 1:30 pm from the Chapel at Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home, 45865 Hocking Ave., Chilliwack.
