Margaret passed away suddenly on January 4, 2009. She leaves behind her pride and joy, her family.
Mom was born in Bradford, England. She then travelled to Canada when she was 18 where she raised her family, made great friends and made irreplaceable memories.
Mom was one of the hardest working ladies who lived her life to the fullest. She loved to help in any way she could. She enjoyed canning, sitting on the deck in the summer and walking. She spent most of her time playing with her great-grandchildren, as they were her pride and joy.
Mom leaves behind her daughter Elaine (Dave) Gunnarson, Dave (Fran) Gourdine, Christine (Ed) Doerfling, and Marcie (Den) Erickson, her grandchildren Amie (Sean), Mike (Amanda), Steve (Meaghan), Robbie (Gerda), Brian (Angie), Tammy (Ron), as well as 8 great-grandchildren.
We would like to thank the staff at Cascade Manor who took care of her and were so wonderful to her. Also, to the wonderful nurses and doctors who made her comfortable until her passing. There will be no service at her request.
As Mom would always say “It’s a great life if you don’t weaken.”
