Marcus Schaap late of Chilliwack, BC, passed away on December 1, 2007. He was born on April 4, 1926 in Hausen, Netherlands.
There will be a Service of Remembrance on Monday December 10, 2007 at 1:00 p.m., at the Chapel of Henderson’s Funeral Home. Major Angus Haggarty officiating.
Marcus will be lovingly remembered by his wife Violet; daughters: Paula Schaap, and Angela Schaap; sons: D’Arcy and Melvyn; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; one sister in Holland, and many nieces and nephews.
Marcus was predeceased by son, Douglas Siebert in 1972.
Marcus was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion for 46 years. He also played with the Royal Canadian Engineer Band in Chilliwack, and the Nayden Band in Victoria. He played Golf.
