M. Ruby Peterson (nee Allen) late of Chilliwack, passed away August 1, 2003 at the age of 74 years. She was born January 3, 1929 in Hanna, Alta.
A funeral service was held at the chapel of Henderson’s Funeral Home on Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2003 at 3:30 p.m. Major Angus Haggarty officiated. Cremation, Valley Crematorium.
Ruby is survived by three sons, Dale Peterson of Prince George, Reed (Debbie) Peterson of Sardis, and Keith (Cindy) Peterson of Vernon; daughter Donna Seymour of Scotch Creek; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Helena (Fred) Schissler of Calgary, Alta., Dellamae Kerner of Red Deer, Alta., and Doreen Heptonstall of Calgary, Alta.
She was predeceased by her husband Art; two daughters, Jean and Audrey; grandson Arthur Seymour; son Grant; brother Bill; and sister Violet.
