M. Irene Wiffen passed away on June 6, 2009 at the age of 93.
Survived by her daughters: Helen (Bob) Boville of Waterloo, ON, Donna (Bill) Wiffen of Oak Ridge, Tenn, Carolyn (Pertti) Tupakka of Sudbury, ON, Brenda (Bill) Lawrence of Winfield, BC; step-sons: Bill (Donna) Wiffen of Oak Ridge, Tenn, Gary (Dot) Wiffen of Comox, Vancouver Island, Rob (Lynn) Wiffen of Williams Lake, BC; 14 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, sister: Ethel McLellan of Little Current, ON; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Sadly predeceased by Donald Williamson, husband of 27 years, and Frederick Wiffen, husband of 34 years.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at 1:00 pm at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC with Chaplain Clair Jantzen officiating. Memorial service and interment at a later date on Manitoulin Island, ON.
