Chambers, M Dorothy passed away peacefully on November 6, 2012 at Pine Acres Home in Westbank, BC with her family at her side. Dorothy was born March 14, 1915 in Earl Grey, Saskatchewan.
She was predeceased by her husband, Albert Lyle (Dooley) Chambers, both of her parents, William and Mabel McKay, brother, Gerald McKay, and sister Violet Spearman.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Grover (Bill), Sons, Bill Chambers (Cecile), Bob Chambers (Susan), Larry Chambers (Sylvia), sister,
Hazel Webb, nine grandchildren, twenty-four great grand children and four great-great -grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Dorothy’s life will be held at 1:30 PM on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at Chilliwack Baptiste Church, 46336 First Avenue, Chilliwack. Tea to follow at the home of Bob and Susan Chambers, 401-9060 Birch Street, Chilliwack.
In lieu of flowers, donations on behalf of Dorothy Chambers may be sent to the Cancer Society or to the Alzheimer Society, would be greatly appreciated.
