Loretta Mary Linklater passed away April 11, 2004 at the Chilliwack General Hospital at the age of 98. She was born on September 11, 1905 in Pomeroy, Washington.
In 1908 her family moved to Spring Lake, Alberta. She has lived in B.C. for the past 65 years.
Loretta is survived by her son Gordon (Andrea) of Rosedale, daughter; Ann of Chilliwack, daughter-in-law; Donna of Campbell River, 7 grandchildren; Andy, Lisa, Danny, Neil, Kelly, Brandy and Sandy. She is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren, Ryan, Robyn, Sydney and Aliya; as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Fred in 1993 and son Wilf in 2003, her parents Pergrim and Anna Friedrick, brothers; Wilfred, Alphonse and Edwin and sisters; Magdelina, Alma and Alvina.
Loretta liked the outdoors and enjoyed her vegetable and flower gardens. She also curled for many years. No service by request.
