Linda (Johnston) Warner
Linda's journey began in January 1942 in Vancouver, BC, continued to Mission, Nanaimo, then to Chilliwack with graduation from CHS in 1960. Married Victor 1962. Raised two daughters and one son in Surrey, Langley, and then returned to Chilliwack in 2011. Linda obtained her LPN at Douglas College in 1988. Linda's journey ended on March 16, 2017. Linda was preceded by her parents Tom & Svea Johnston. She will be deeply missed by her husband Victor, daughters Leora, Darlene (Michael), and son Wade, granddaughter Ashley, grandsons Jeremy and Aidan, sisters Joann and Wendy, their families, and many cousins. Linda enjoyed her travels and visits with friends and relatives across Canada. Special thanks to Dr. Du Toit, the staff & Dr's at Chilliwack Hospital, Surrey Memorial, Laurel Place (Surrey), BC Ambulance Services and Cascade Hospice for their care and comfort in Linda's final days. No service by request. There will be a family graveside service. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Hazelwood Grove clubhouse April 29, 2017 at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, your donations to BC Cancer Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
