Lillian Caroline Wickhorst passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at home in Langley BC at age 93 years. She was born September 22, 1913 in Kincaid, Saskatchewan.
Lillian is survived by many loving friends, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Ernie; brother Charles “Don” (Margaret) Derryman and parents, Charles and Caroline Derryman, as well as nephews, Kenneth “Bud”, Alan and Richard Derryman, all sons of Don and Margaret.
Lillian and Ernie were always self-employed, first with leather tooling and sales, in Vancouver and later as poultry farmers with a large egg shipping quota and a door-to-door egg sales route in Surrey.
They retired to Langley after selling the farm. Lillian spent her life as an ever-faithful community and church volunteer until her health no longer permitted at around 85 years of age.
A memorial service will be held in the Chilliwack United Church Lounge on Friday, February 16, 2007 at 11:00 am, 45835 Spadina Ave, Chilliwack, BC.
