Leslie Leo Dagenais, age 88, passed away in Chilliwack General Hospital on August 31, 2009. He served in the R.C.A.F for 31 years enjoying various bases across Canada and Europe.
He is survived by four daughters and one son: Dianne (Ed) Johannson; Linda (Richard) Short, both of Vernon; Anita Heath of Chilliwack; Heather (Joe) Whalen of Lumby, BC and John (Maxine) of Delta, BC. His extended family included three great-great-grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 12 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Lillian of 68 years of marriage in 2008.
At Les’s request there will be no funeral service. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
