‘Leo’ Joseph Wilfred BEAULIEU

May 10, 2003

‘Leo’ Joseph Wilfred Beaulieu passed away peacefully at the age of 64, after a short bout with cancer, on May 10, 2003 at 7 p.m. at his home. Born August 31, 1938 in McLenna, Alta., he moved to B.C. in 1944 and remained there until his death.

He was predeceased by his mother Lila; father Wilfred; and step-father Clarence ‘Tiny’ Kempton.

Survived by brother Don (Hazel); sister Laura (Lloyd), three nieces; one nephew; and great-nieces and nephews; as well as his dear companion and friend Georgette Paquette.

Leo served five years in the Navy and then worked as a logger for many years. He enjoyed his family and friends and his gardening. He also had a special little dog ‘Buddy’. He had a great sense of humour right up to the end of his life. He will be greatly missed by family and his many friends.

Leo was a private person and had requested no service. A Celebration of Life for Leo will be held at the Anavets on Thursday, May 22, 2003 at 1 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, or the Autism Society.

In our hearts forever Leo - The family and friends.
