“Rita”
Lena Maria “Rita” Hampson passed away on Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at Chilliwack BC at age 56 years. She was born March 17, 1952 in Chilliwack, BC.
Rita is survived by her husband Dave; sons: Chad (Stephanie), Brent (Stephanie) and Joel (Brenda); grandchildren: Seth, Tiana and Luke; her siblings Gerrit (Joké) Romeyn, Leny Viets, Agnes (Arie) Van Wingerden, Nelly ( Ron) Kaye, Marian (Dwight) Moore, Pete (Wendy) Romeyn, John (Theresa) Romeyn, and Louise (Tjakko) Cazander.
Rita is predeceased by her parents, Marinus and Tryntje Romeyn and her brother-in-law, John Viets.
The funeral service was conducted by Rev. P. Van Ruitenburg of the Bethel Netherlands Reformed Congregation Church where Dave and Rita attended. Thank you to the pall bearers who supported us, Arie Van Wingerden, Ron Kaye, Dwight Moore, Peter Romeyn, John Romeyn and Tjakko Cazander and the honourary bearers, Gerrit Romeyn and John Viets.
