It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grand mother, cornerstone of our family. Laureen (Liddle) was born on June 10, 1929 in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario found her home in British Columbia many years ago until her passing on August 26, 2006 after a short but courageous battle with cancer. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 59 years, James Vernon Adams; her sons, James (Suzanne), Douglas (Libby), Randall (Betty), and her daughter Lynette (Rick); seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and many extended family members. Laureen was a caring and loving person for who family was a cherished and vital aspect of her life. A special thank you is forwarded to the wonderful staff and caregivers at Chilliwack General Hospital. In lieu of flowers, a contribution may be made to the BC Cancer Foundation. Memorial service to be held on Saturday, September 2, 2006 at 2:30pm from the Chapel of Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home 45865 Hocking Ave., Chilliwack, BC.
