Laura Jane Newton Stanyer passed away on August 31, 2006 at Chilliwack BC. she was born on April 2, 1923 in Kapuskasing, ON, and moved to Chilliwack in 1989.
Laura is survived by her three daughters, Betty Mclaren, Peggy Stanyer and Carol Windsor, her two sisters Marge Richard of Chilliwack, and Hilda Johnson in Komako, ON, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews across Canada. She will be greatly missed by all.
There is no service in Chilliwack as per her request.
She will be reunited with her late husband, Albert John Stanyer, on Sept. 27, 2006 in Ahmic Harbour, ON for their 65th wedding anniversary.
