It is with great sadness that we announce Laura’s passing on Sunday, May 11, 2008.
She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Frank; son, Tim (Mary); daughter: Nancy (Birk); and grandchildren: Frank, Teresa, Greta and Violet.
Laura was born October 11, 1923 in Kamloops, B.C. and was raised by loving parents along with her two brothers, Ernest and Martin, and one sister, Daphne, on a dairy farm in the Fraser Valley.
She had a fulfilling career as an elementary school teacher. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, May 16, 2008 from Cathedral Church of St. Michael and All Angels, 608 Sutherland Avenue in Kelowna at 10:30 a.m.
