Kori Frederick Gabriel passed away in Vancouver on 04 August 2002 at the age of 55. He was born in Georgetown, Guyana, South America on 20 August 1946. Kori grew up at C.F.B. Chilliwack and had lived in Nakusp for the last 12 years.
He was a good and caring person during his lifetime. His humour will live long after him. “Goodbye Dear One.” Please be kind and understanding to your local transplant society.
A Service of Remembrance was held at the Chapel of Henderson’s Funeral Home on Thursday, 08 August 2002 at 2:00 p.m. Major Sandra Haggarty officiating. A wake will be shared with his friends in Nakusp on 20 August 2002.
He is survived by his wife Hetty Gabriel, daughters, Kari-Ann Gabriel, Celina Maria Gabriel and Anjuli Beatrice Gabriel. He is also survived by his parents Rufus and Juliet Nutt of Parksville, brothers and sisters Patricia, Michael, Paul, George, David, Jane, and Rodney; 17 nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his sister Joy Angela in 2000.
