Kenneth William FOSS

Kenneth William Foss passed away in Chilliwack on August 13, 2005 at the age of 73 years. He was born in New Westminster on October 4, 1931. He lived in this area for 15 years.

Ken worked for the Canadian National Railway for 20 years. He worked from Kamloops and Port Mann. Ken and his wife moved to Seton Portage in 1966 and operated a general store for 3 years. They then moved to Lillooet in 1969 and lived there for 20 years where they owned Spark Motors for 5 years. He also worked for the school District and eventually started his own construction company. Ken’s hobbies included fishing, woodworking, curling, boating and playing the organ and saxophone.

Ken is survived by his wife, Mary Foss, of 53 years and their children; Lynn (Bob) Ritchie of Salmon Arm, Gail (Tom) Cusator of Surrey and June (Stephen) Peaker of Surrey, grandchildren Lauren and Kara Ritchie, Amy and Jason Cusator and Justin and Lucas Peaker, an aunt Lila Tomiuk of Chilliwack, nieces Judy Yastremsky of Merritt and Kathy Farquharson of Edmonton and nephews Keith Boulanger of Chilliwack and Ross Boulanger of California.

Ken was predeceased by his parents Edna and Rueal Foss of Chilliwack.

Ken will be lovingly remembered by family and friends.

Services of Remembrance will be held at a later date pending on Mary’s health.
