Kenneth James Garner passed away on February 21, 2006 at the Chilliwack General Hospital at the age of 89 years. He was born in London, England on April 6, 1916.
 Ken is survived by his wife Nora, daughter Karoll Garner of Calgary, Alberta, son, Grant (Sylvia) Garner of Spruce Grove, Alberta, grandchildren, Tammy, Kelly, Jody, Leissa, Jennifer and Amy and great grandchildren, Evan and Elizabeth. He is also survived by two sisters, Vera Dunham of Chilliwack and Margaret Michael of St. Loui Abispo, Calf.
Ken served in the Second World Ward, the Korean Conflict and with the UN in Egypt. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #280, member of the Masonic Lodge and Order of Eastern Star. He enjoyed bowling.
Services will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2006 at 1:00 pm from the Chapel of Henderson’s Funeral Home with Father Fred Tassinari officiating. Donations made be made to a charity of your choice.
