Kenneth John ’Ken’ Braun passed away on July 3, 2002, he was in his 49th year. Ken attended school in Chilliwack where he played trombone in the school band, and he played guitar in a rock band. An electrician by trade, he enjoyed golfing, riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, and had travelled to Japan and Europe. Ken is survived by his mother Anne Braun; brothers, Ben (Mary) Braun of Abbotsford, and Walter of Port Coquitlam; sister Julie (Dick) Baerg of Leduc, Alta.; sister-in-law Judy Braun of Port Coquitlam; nieces and nephews, Michael Braun of Vancouver, Janice (Steve) Arndt, and their children, Justin and Bethany, all of Nelson, Karen (Dan) Westrup, and their family, Natalie and Ashley, all of Ottawa, Ont., Darrel (Debbie) Baerg, and their daughter Kayla, all of Westbank, Carmen (Kevan) Julseth of Edmonton, Alta. The memorial funeral service was held on Saturday, July 6, 2002 at Greendale M.B. Church, Greendale, with Mr. Rusty Reimer officiating.
