Kenneth Alex McDowall passed away peacefully at the Chilliwack General Hospital on Wednesday, September 10, 2003 at the age of 71 years after a courageous battle with cancer.
He retired in 1988 after 35 years of dedicated service with A.G.T. (Telus). Ken moved with his beloved wife Helen to Chilliwack in 1994 to continue his love with the great outdoors. His main joy in life was spending time camping with his family and friends. His passion for motorcycles took him on endless and memorable journeys.
Ken will be sadly missed by his wife and best friend of 45 years, Helen; his children, Kathleen (Bill), Ted (Trisha) and Scott (Lindy); three grandchildren Kirk, Jesse, Ryan and a new little grandchild soon to be born.
The family wishes to thank Dr. R. Jones and the staff at CGH, family, friends and neighbours in Chilliwack and Calgary, for their support.
A private family Graveside Service will be held at a later date.
