Kathleen Louisa Lane George, born Jan. 11, 1926 in Drumheller, Alberta, only daughter of Alice and Arthur George late of Huntingdon, B.C.
Louisa passed away peacefully on Sat., Oct. 9, 2010 in the Chilliwack General Hospital. Our family is grateful to Dr. David Fitzpatrick and the staff of Fraser Health Home Support Service for 10 years of devotion and care to Louisa’s well being. Our gratitude also to the 5th floor nursing staff; care aids and physio of CGH for their support and loving tender care.
Louisa is predeased by her brother, Clairmont MacLeod and wife, Margaret of Cedar, her brother, Art George of Abbotsford, her nephews Allan and Jack and her niece, Cathy.
She will be greatly missed by her 2 brothers, Dick (Maxine) George of Langley, and Bill (Iris) George of Surrey, and her sister-in-law Charlotte George of Abbotsford.
Louisa was the best Auntie, she leaves 12 nieces and nephews and their spouses, great- and great-great-nieces and nephews and other family and friends.
A very special mention to her dearest friend and confidante, Audrey Wade. We will be forever grateful, God Bless.
Pastor Graeme Isbister will preside as we celebrate Louisa’s life on Sat., Oct. 30, 2010, in the Lions Riding Club Hall, on Spadina Ave. at Corbould St., in Chilliwack at 1:00 pm. A tea will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to Louisa’s sponsored child in Kenya at World Vision to Kapelo Aemun I.D.#170987 - 1386 would be greatly appreciated.
