Katharina Kieselew, late of Chilliwack, formerly of Agassiz and Harrison Hot Springs passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2009 at Waverly Seniors Village at the age of 85 years.
Katharina was born in 1923 in the Ukraine. She had lived in the Chilliwack/Agassiz/Harrison Hot Springs area for the past 53 years.
She was predeceased by her husband Egor Kieselew in 2002. She is survived by her niece and family in the Ukraine as well as many friends in Canada and USA.
Katharina worked for many years at the Harrison Hot Springs Hotel before she retired.
A visitation will be held on Monday, March 30, 2009 from Henderson’s Funeral Home 6:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday March 31, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. from the Chapel of Henderson’s Funeral Home. Reverend Peter Hnatiw officiating. Burial in Agassiz at Valley View Cemetery. Reception to follow at the Royal Canadian Legion in Agassiz.
