Karen passed away at Cascade Hospice surrounded by her loving family. She succumbed to cancer after a feisty battle lasting 4 years. Beloved wife to Stan for 38 years, mother to Danielle (Grant) and Michelle (Jesse), loving grandma to Nathan, Taiya and Emma. She is also survived by her mother Lydia; sister Debbie (Colin) and brother’s, Dave (Cindy) and Steven (Roxanne). She will be terribly missed by many family and friends. Karen was predeceased by her father, Bill and grandson Nolan. A celebration of Karen’s life will be held on Saturday, June 20th, from 1-4 p.m., at 51061 Yale Road, Rosedale, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Karen’s name to the Canadian Cancer Society.
