June Downing passed away on June 13, 2008 at Chilliwack, BC at age 71 years. She was born June 1, 1937 in Mt. Lehman, BC.
June is survived by her husband Richard; son, Kenneth (Marie), daughters: Deborah (Bud), Melinda, Sandra-Ann (Randy) and Cheryl (Stuart); numerous grandchildren; brothers: Gordon, Ian (Pat) and Roy (Esther); sister, Irene (Allen) and their families.
She was predeceased by her mother and father Eddie and Mary Monson and her brother Glen Monson.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, June 18, 2008 at 10:30 am from the Chapel of Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home, 45865 Hocking Ave. Chilliwack. Pall bearers will be Bob Barth, George Barclay, Terry James, Stuart Duff, Bud Hackett and Ken Downing.
June worked with Fraser Valley Home Care in Chilliwack providing assistance to those in need. The family offers special thanks to the staff at the Bradley Centre, Chilliwack General Hospital for the care June received.
