On Aug. 1, 2006, Joyce passed away peacefully following a long battle with cancer. She left behind the love of her life and soul mate, her husband Wilson.
She is survived by three wonderful children: Laurie (Randy) Scanks, Barry (Laurie) MacEwan and Julie (Dennis) Snider; six beautiful grandchildren: Kaylee and Taylor MacEwan, Tenaya and Dakota Snider and Shelby and Allison Scanks who will miss her dearly.
Joyce will be honoured by family and friends at a celebration of her life on Friday, Aug. 5, 2006 from 6:30 to 9:30 pm in the clubhouse at Halcyon Meadows, 46000 Thomas Rd. in Chilliwack.
