Josephine (Giuseppina) Caltagirone passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2009 in Chilliwack, BC at the age of 82 years. Jessie was born and raised in East Vancouver and had a long and successful career as an Executive Secretary. In retirement, Jessie and Baldo moved to Chilliwack, where they operated a hobby farm. Jessie wrote music and poetry and left behind a collection of her works to her family and close friends. She will forever be remembered and sadly missed by her husband, Baldo and the daughters of her heart, Karen and Anna as well as her family and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, December 12, 2009 at First Memorial Funeral Chapel, 602 Kingsway, Vancouver, BC, Katherine Roback officiant.
Memorial donations may be made in Josephine’s name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of BC, 1212 W. Broadway, Vancouver, BC V6H 3V2.
